Who we are
Sportsafe UK Ltd is the data controller for the information you give us on this booking site. We are incorporated in England and Wales and are part of the Abeo Group of companies.

What we collect when you book a call
When you book a call we ask you for:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number
- your organisation's name
- the postcode of the site you are asking about
- anything you choose to write in the comments box
We also record which call you booked, and the date and time you chose.
That is all. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no tracking pixels. The booking system does not store your IP address or your browser details, although our web server and the security service in front of it keep short-term logs, as any website does.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to arrange the call you asked for, to send you a confirmation, to prepare for the call, and to follow up on what you and our colleague discuss.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us to call you about sports, PE, gym or playground equipment for your organisation, and handling that enquiry properly is in both our interests. Where the conversation leads to a quote or an order, we process your details to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We use the site postcode you give us to pass your enquiry to the colleague who covers your area, so that the person who calls you knows the region. No decision about you is made by automated means.
Who else sees it
- Our own staff, specifically the colleague taking your call and the team supporting them.
- Our CRM system, where your enquiry is recorded so that we can follow it up.
- Microsoft, whose Microsoft 365 service sends your booking confirmation email.
- Cloudflare, which sits in front of this site to keep it available and to block malicious traffic.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing with anyone outside the Abeo Group.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens it is covered by UK adequacy regulations, an International Data Transfer Agreement, or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your booking while we deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it. The enquiry record in our CRM is kept under Sportsafe's retention policy and reviewed, so that we are not holding details we no longer need.
You can ask us to delete your details at any time, using the contact details above.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies when you open it.
If we show you a notice or a short introduction, we store a single small item in your browser so that we do not show it to you again. Nothing in it identifies you, and it is not shared with anyone.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask for it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where you have given it.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. You are entitled to do that without contacting us first, though we would rather have the chance to put things right.
